When new, this unique Jeff Koons collaboration came with a $350,995 starting price, making it over three times more expensive than a standard 8 Series.
The M850i’s interior proves to be even brighter than the outside, combining a vibrant blue and red leather configuration. Jeff Koons expressed that he enjoys bringing others along with him during this car’s release, so all 99 units of this limited run feature four doors instead of the 8 Series’ standard coupe body and convertible styles.
Under the hood of the Jeff Koons M850i Gran Coupe art car lies BMW’s 4.4L twin-turbocharged V8 that produces 523 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque. Paired with a dual-clutch transmission and sophisticated all-wheel-drive xDrive system, the BMW M850i sprints from 0 to 60 mph in 5.2 seconds.
